Damonte Ranch has won four straight games at home, while Douglas has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Mustangs will host the Tigers at 3:45 p.m. One thing working in Damonte Ranch's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
Damonte Ranch's hitters will try to repeat the strong performance they gave on Monday, when they got past Lowry's usually-dominant pitching crew. The Mustangs walked away with a 10-7 victory over the Buckaroos.

Damonte Ranch got a great performance from Mckenna Kiely as she tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. Kiely has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Savanna Esqueda was a standout: she scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Madeline Wackowski, who scored a run while going 3-for-3.
Damonte Ranch was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They are 4-2 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Douglas faced Reed in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Tigers lost 12-2 to the Raiders. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Tigers, who until this match were averaging 4.09 runs allowed.
Marissa McLelland made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Damonte Ranch is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Douglas, their loss dropped their record down to 16-7.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Damonte Ranch hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .346. However, it's not like Douglas struggles in that department as they've averaged .374. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Damonte Ranch might still be hurting after the 10-0 defeat they got from Douglas in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Will the Mustangs have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more softball content.
