Football Game Preview: Gulfport Admirals vs. Brandon Bulldogs + Official Tickets

Gulfport is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Brandon is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Admirals will welcome the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Gulfport's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last nine contests.

Gulfport is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Petal 45-10. The result was nothing new for the Admirals, who have now won seven matchups by 28 points or more so far this season.

Gulfport's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cooper Crosby, who rushed for 105 yards and a pair of scores. Crosby is also on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last nine games he's played. Parker Nettles was another key passer, throwing for 206 yards and two TDs on only 16 passes.

Gulfport didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jy'Savian Causey and Javious Hales. Deandre Williams was another major factor on D, making ten total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Special teams was a major factor in the game for Gulfport, racking up 15 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Cordarious Payton, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Brandon ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They skirted past Oak Grove 30-27. That's two games straight that the Bulldogs have won by exactly three points.

Brandon's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Gulfport, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.

Gulfport was taken down by Brandon 42-0 in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Can the Admirals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
