Keswick Christian waltzed into their game  on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on Gulf Coast HEAT with a sharp  15-4 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Crusaders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
 Dylan Williams was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out eight batters over  four innings while giving up  four earned runs off   four  hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. What's more,  he posted two  RBI, the most he's  had since back in April of 2024.
 In other batting news,  Caleb Stratis was a standout: he scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3.  Evan Lightfield was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing three bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Keswick Christian  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .576. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Gulf Coast HEAT only posted  an  OBP of  .333.
Keswick Christian's record now sits at 6-2. As for Gulf Coast HEAT, their defeat was  their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 1-4.
 Keswick Christian and Gulf Coast HEAT's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Keswick Christian will  square off against  Largo  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday, a  team that's only allowed 2.83  runs per game. Keswick Christian's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6  runs per game  this season, so Gulf Coast HEAT's hitters will have their work cut out for them. Meanwhile, Gulf Coast HEAT and Foundation Christian Academy (who has only given up two  runs per game) will meet  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
