Kendall Tabora was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and seven unearned) runs off nine hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Bella Beltran made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Gelilaa Gebrezgi also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
