Elba can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They took down Opp 57-43. That looming 57-43 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Elba yet this season.
Meanwhile, Pike Liberal Arts had to suffer through a rough 81-47 loss at the hands of Providence Christian. While losing is never fun, Pike Liberal Arts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 349th, while Providence Christian is ranked 88th).
The victory got Elba back to even at 5-5. As for Pike Liberal Arts, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-9.
