Meanwhile, Training Center Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Chesterton Academy of St. Philip Neri on Friday, taking the game 49-42. The win made it back-to-back wins for Training Center Christian.
It was another big night for Creed Lopez, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 11 rebounds. Lopez is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Alex Bryan was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Midland Adventist Academy's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.2 points per game. As for Training Center Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.
