Carroll extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Eli Falkenberg. Everything went the Carroll Cougars' way against the Eastern Comets on Friday as the Carroll Cougars made off with a 73-50 win with plenty of help from Falkenberg, who dropped a double-double with 29 points and 11 boards. The match was his seventh in a row with at least 19 points.

Another player making a difference was Aidan Duff, who posted nine points along with seven assists and six rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last 11 games he's played.

Carroll pushed their record up to 18-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points over those games. As for Eastern, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-12.

Carroll didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-40 defeat against Clinton Prairie on the 5th. As for Eastern, they have also already played their next game, a 64-51 loss against Rochester on the 4th.
