Meanwhile, Revere took a serious blow against Lynn English on Thursday, falling 82-51. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Revere in their matchups with Lynn English: they've now lost three in a row.
Medford's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 0-2. As for Revere, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 0-2.
Medford came out on top in a nail-biter against Revere when the teams last played back in January, sneaking past 71-69. Will Medford repeat their success, or does Revere have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
