Golden View Classical Academy found their leader in underclassman Gianna Acocella, who scored 8 points along with 5 steals. Mira Lensink was another key contributor, scoring 2 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Golden View Classical Academy's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Liberty Tree Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Golden View Classical Academy will take on Twin Peaks Charter Academy at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Liberty Tree Academy, they will be playing at home against Addenbrooke Classical Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
