Softball Recap: Diman RVT Has No Trouble Against Durfee

Diman RVT had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Durfee on Tuesday. The Bengals were the clear victors by a 19-7 margin over the Hilltoppers. That's more bragging rights for the Bengals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ashley Carvalho spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and three unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up eight Ks.

At the plate, Paisley Parisee was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in four of her six plate appearances. Natalie Raposa was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Diman RVT's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Durfee, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Diman RVT will take on Seekonk at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Durfee, they will face off against Middleborough at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
