There's no place like home for The Christian Brothers Purple Wave, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They managed a 18-14 win over Father Ryan on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Christian Brothers also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2017.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Christian Brothers to victory, but perhaps none more so than William Kreitz, who rushed for 76 yards and a touchdown.
Christian Brothers' win was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-3. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Father Ryan, Briarcrest Christian, and Fayette Ware. As for Father Ryan, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
Christian Brothers will head out on the road to face off against Ensworth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ensworth is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. As for Father Ryan, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Warren County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Warren County comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 12 points in their last five games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
