Baseball Recap: Gramercy Christian Takes a Loss

Gramercy Christian extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to six on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-4. They came up short against the Bethel Assembly Christian Academy Eagles, falling 16-6. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

As for Bethel Assembly Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games.

For Bethel Assembly Christian Academy's part, Peyton Liverman was excellent, going 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. That's the most stolen bases Liverman has posted since back in April of 2025. Bryson Ray was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gramercy Christian will welcome The Epiphany School of Global Studies at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bethel Assembly Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against New Life Academy at 6:00 p.m.
