There's no place like home for the Hudson Blue Hawks, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Monday. They strolled past Chatham with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 55-41. That's another feather in the cap for Hudson, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Hudson found their leader in underclassman Malia Jackson, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Jackson has scored at least a third of Hudson's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tessa Goldstien, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
Hudson's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Chatham, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
Hudson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Chatham also has no future games currently scheduled.
