The Northside Rams lost against the American Christian Academy Patriots back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Northside fell 55-43 to American Christian Academy. Northside has not had much luck with American Christian Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
American Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Eric Hines led the charge by dropping a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. Hines has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times he's played. Justin Michael Allen was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with three steals.
Northside dropped their record down to 9-13 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for American Christian Academy, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northside will take on South Lamar at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for American Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Bibb County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
