Creighton Prep faced Omaha Westside in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Junior Jays were dealt  a  52-20 defeat at the hands of the Warriors. The Junior Jays were not able to make up for their  loss to the Warriors from their previous meeting  back in October of 2024.
 Despite the loss, Creighton Prep still got an impressive performance from   Angelo Wallker, who rushed for 89 yards and one  TD. Wallker also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  forcing one fumble and making two total tackles (2.0 for loss).
  Tay Tay Jenkins was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 196 yards and four  scores on only 15 carries, while also picking up 39 receiving yards for Omaha Westside. Jenkins' rushing production has been exceptional  for a while as that marked his 17th straight game with at least 108  rushing yards dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was  Braylen Warren, who rushed for 30 yards and one  touchdown.
Having lost for the first time  this season, Creighton Prep  fell to 7-1. As for Omaha Westside, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.
 Looking ahead, Creighton Prep will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Norfolk  at 7:00  p.m. As for Omaha Westside, they will venture away from home to  square off against Papillion-LaVista  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. That  contest will pit two of the most dominant  backs against one another:  Jenkins and  Brody Parr.
