Roosevelt is 1-8-1 against North Dallas since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Roosevelt Mustangs will head out on the road to face off against the North Dallas Bulldogs at 2:30 p.m.
Roosevelt fell victim to Wilmer-Hutchins' stalwart defense on Wednesday and couldn't make it onto the board. They suffered a tough 3-0 loss at the hands of the Eagles. Roosevelt has struggled against Wilmer-Hutchins recently, as their match on Wednesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, North Dallas has not lost a match since January 12th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Madison a 8-0 shutout. With that victory, North Dallas brought their scoring average up to 2.8 goals per game.
Their offense was hitting Madison from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal.
Roosevelt's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for North Dallas, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3-3.
Roosevelt might still be hurting after the 5-0 loss they got from North Dallas when the teams last played back in March of 2023. Can Roosevelt avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
