The Wagner Thunderbirds lost against the Clemens Buffaloes back in February of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Wagner was the victim of a tough 60-34 defeat at the hands of Clemens.
Several Thunderbirds players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tyler Jackson, who scored 10 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Marcus Johnson, who scored 9 points.
Wagner's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Clemens, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.
Wagner will take on East Central at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. East Central knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matches -- so hopefully Wagner likes a good challenge. Clemens' road trip will continue as they head out to face O'Connor at 11:00 a.m. on December 2nd. O'Connor will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
