The Milton-Union Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Miami East Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Milton-Union focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Tuesday.
Milton-Union suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They were beaten by Troy Christian 69-37. Milton-Union was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-12.
Zach Lovin put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 12 points along with five rebounds. Wyatt Kimmel was another key contributor, scoring five points along with six rebounds.
Milton-Union struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. They are winless (0-3) when they can't control their own glass like that.
Meanwhile, Miami East earned a 56-47 victory over Lehman Catholic on Tuesday. The win was just what Miami East needed coming off of a 65-44 loss in their prior matchup.
Milton-Union's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Miami East, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6.
Milton-Union took a serious blow against Miami East when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 55-24. Can Milton-Union avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
