Two dominant signal callers in Tyler Vargas and Caleb Cook are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Plains Cowboys will be playing at home against the New Home Leopards at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Plains has struggled recently with five losses in a row, while New Home will arrive with seven straight wins.
Last Thursday, Plains was the victim of a rough 28-6 loss at the hands of Seagraves.
Meanwhile, New Home got themselves on the board against Smyer on Friday, but Smyer never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bobcats 62-0 at home. The result was nothing new for New Home, who have now won six matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.
New Home's victory bumped their season record to 7-0 while Plains' defeat dropped theirs to 1-5.
Plains was dealt a bruising 50-0 defeat at the hands of New Home in their previous meeting back in October of 2022. Will Plains have more luck at home instead of on the road?
