Meanwhile, River City Believers Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Legacy Christian Academy.

River City Believers Academy actually scored more points across those five sets (110-97), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-23, 12-25, 26-24, 19-25, 15-13.

First Baptist Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-2-1. As for River City Believers Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12-2.

First Baptist Academy took their victory against River City Believers Academy in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Soldiers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
