Luke Olivieri was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Old Forge is 6-3 when Olivieri allows three or fewer earned runs, but 3-6 otherwise. Olivieri was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April.

Meanwhile, after a string of ten wins, Riverside's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of Scranton Prep. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Vikings, who until this game were averaging 3.87 runs allowed.
