Lampeter-Strasburg dropped their record down to 16-5 on Thursday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Northern Lebanon Vikings by a score of  4-3. The Pioneers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in May of 2021.
 Paige Baxter put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with one  run and one  double.
 In other pitching news, Lampeter-Strasburg got a good showing from  Cyana Rosa, who   tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits. Rosa has been consistent: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive appearances.
 Baxter wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Aubree Morrow, who  went 2-for-3 with one  double and one  RBI. Another  was  Isabelle King, who  went 1-for-2 with one  run and one  RBI.
As for Northern Lebanon, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.1 runs over those games.
On Northern Lebanon's side,  Lynsie Mauser spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and two unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up ten Ks.
 At the plate,  Addison Kubica was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI. That  stolen base marked the first that  she has  snagged this season.
As of now, neither Lampeter-Strasburg nor Northern Lebanon have any future games scheduled.
