North Catholic is a perfect 3-0 against Valley since September of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Trojans will challenge the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

North Catholic is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Hampton just ended the team's nine-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Talbots by a score of 1-0. Considering the last time North Catholic couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Valley's offense. They came up short against Shady Side Academy on Thursday, falling 19-0. The loss continues a trend for Valley in their meetings with Shady Side Academy: they've now lost four in a row.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14-1. As for North Catholic, the loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 13-2-1.

North Catholic took their victory against Valley in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 11-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
