Enumclaw has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Highline Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Enumclaw had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 49-12 win over Othello at home. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Enumclaw had established a 30 point advantage.
Enumclaw's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gunnar Trachte, who threw for 180 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Trachte is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played. Tristan Donovan and his 85 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Enumclaw's victory.
Meanwhile, Highline entered their tilt with WF West with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. Highline simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat WF West 34-6 at home.
Enumclaw's victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.9 points per game. As for Highline, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1.
