Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Williston-Elko's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Calhoun County, falling 58-31. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Williston-Elko has scored all season.
Wagener-Salley's loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-12. As for Williston-Elko, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
Wagener-Salley didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Williston-Elko in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 57-52 win.
