Liberty won the last time they faced Desert Oasis and things went their way  on Thursday too. The Liberty Patriots came out on top against the Desert Oasis Diamondbacks by a score of  45-37. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Patriots.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Liberty to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Neviah Nick, who  posted ten  points and six  rebounds.  Mia Versola was another key player,  putting up ten points.
 Despite the  loss, Desert Oasis saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Kayleigh Upham  almost  dropped  a double-double on 11  points and nine  boards. As a matter of fact, that's the most  points  Upham has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Alyssa Atkins-Dowd, who  had eight  points and five  rebounds.
Liberty is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record  this season. As for Desert Oasis, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.
 Liberty didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  48-40  victory against Coronado on the 11th. As for Desert Oasis, they will square off against Faith Lutheran at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday.
