Alhambra has gone a perfect 9-0 against Fairfax recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Alhambra Lions will challenge the Fairfax Stampede at 3:45 p.m. Alhambra is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.3 runs per game this season.

Alhambra's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Fairfax with a sharp 11-0 win. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Stampede recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Alhambra got a great performance from Alan Ledon as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over 4.2 innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave Ledon a new career-low in earned runs (zero).

At the plate, Ricardo Fonseca was incredible, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. Those stolen bases marked the first that he snagged this season. Another player making a difference was Christopher Martinez, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Alhambra always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .581. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Alhambra pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Fairfax, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
