Colerain's loss to St. Xavier in the Ohio Division 1 playoffs gives the MaxPreps midwest region football computer rankings a new No. 1 team for the first time this season.
Wayne moves up to the No. 1 spot while Colerain falls to No. 3. Center Grove, which upset Warren Central in the Indiana Class 6A playoffs, moves up three spots to No. 2. Warren Central dropped to No. 5.
The regional rankings are based on the MaxPreps National Football Computer Rankings, presented by the Army National Guard. The Midwest region includes teams from Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Kansas, Wisconsin, Nebraska and North and South Dakota.
