Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Reimer Road Baptist Christian sitting on 17 straight victories and HEARTS for Jesus Christ on seven.
Even though Non Varsity Opponent scored an imposing 60 points on Saturday, Reimer Road Baptist Christian still came out on top. Reimer Road Baptist Christian took down Non Varsity Opponent 76-60.
Meanwhile, HEARTS for Jesus Christ put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season last Tuesday. They breezed by Heritage Christian on the road to the tune of 73-37.
HEARTS for Jesus Christ's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Silas Nixon, who scored ten points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. Nixon hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Lenarth, who scored 16 points.
Reimer Road Baptist Christian pushed their record up to 17-1 with that win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for HEARTS for Jesus Christ, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.
Reimer Road Baptist Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over HEARTS for Jesus Christ in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, winning 56-46. The rematch might be a little tougher for Reimer Road Baptist Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
