After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Stockdale, Lompoc was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Templeton Eagles. The win was some much needed relief for the Braves as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.
Lily Drysol spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
