The Prescott Badgers came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 70-55 win over Mingus. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Prescott was led to victory by Bella Abt and Addie Prisciandaro. Abt dropped a double-double on 20 points and 15 rebounds, while Prisciandaro scored 34 points along with four steals. Abt has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 13 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylee Hobson, who scored seven points along with eight assists.
Prescott is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 17-8 record this season. As for Mingus, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-6.
Prescott will head out on the road to take on the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Flagstaff will be looking to keep their 11-game home win streak alive. Mingus does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
