The Lincoln Lions suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They were dealt a 52-22 loss at the hands of Elizabeth. Lincoln was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-7.
Elizabeth's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dynasty Chandler led the charge by dropping a triple-double on ten points, 18 rebounds, and ten assists. That's the first time this season that Chandler posted eight or more assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexandra Koon, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
Lincoln has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Elizabeth, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-3.
Lincoln will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Dominic Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Elizabeth will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Teaneck at 12:00 p.m. on January 20th.
