The Beddingfield Bruins will head out on the road to take on the J.H. Rose Rampants at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Beddingfield is looking to tack on another W to their seven-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
Last Wednesday, Beddingfield came up short against Greene Central and fell 62-53.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Zeth Bradford, who scored nine points. Another player making a difference was Jayonta Blanchard, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, J.H. Rose waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They strolled past D.H. Conley with points to spare, taking the game 48-31.
Malachi Green continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 17 points along with two steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Torry "TJ" Brown was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks.
Beddingfield's loss dropped their record down to 10-2. As for J.H. Rose, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Beddingfield hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 56 points per game. It's a different story for J.H. Rose, though, as they've been averaging only 59.7 points per game. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more basketball content.
