Rich put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 20-13 win over the North Summit Braves. That's two games straight that the Rebels have won by exactly seven points.
A big part of Rich's victory came down to the chemistry between Wilkes Weston and his top target Jett Holmes. Weston rushed for 127 yards and one TD while picking up 7.9 yards per carry while Holmes rushed for 63 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Weston also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making ten total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defending one pass.
Rich was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 307 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 258 rushing yards in five consecutive games dating back to last season.
