Basketball Recap: Alchesay Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Alchesay had won 11 straight home games and Texas James did his part to make it 12 on Tuesday. The Alchesay Falcons walked away with a 61-49 victory over the Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets thanks in part to James, who went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points. Those 24 points gave him a new career-high.

Alchesay has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.2 points per game. As for Blue Ridge, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-16.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alchesay will face off against Winslow at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Winslow will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Alchesay surely won't give up without a fight. As for Blue Ridge, they will square off against Snowflake at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
