The Parrish Community Bulls will face off against the Boca Ciega Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Parrish Community focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 last Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, Parrish Community lost to Academy of the Holy Names at home by a decisive 65-48 margin.
The losing side was boosted by Sarah Decker, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayna Bowen, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Boca Ciega walked away with it. They strolled past the Pirates with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 64-47. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Boca Ciega.
Parrish Community's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Boca Ciega, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-12.
