The biggest upset of the week belonged to Kathleen, who took down 120th ranked Bartow, 31-7.
Lake Gibson extended the longest winning streak in 6A District 10 this week by beating Winter Haven, 28-24. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Braves.
Lake Gibson's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Braves feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Trey Congdon has thrown for 998 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Eric Carter has 31 catches for 520 yards. Tyler Brown leads the league in rushing with 685 yards.
The Devils /Red moved up to 99 from 142 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Kathleen was able to make the jump by beating the Yellow Jackets 31-7.
