Vest Came Up Big in Spanish Fork's 52-27 Win
Starting off the list is Spanish Fork's Kaden Vest, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Vest rushed for 221 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.5 yards per carry, and also picked up 65 receiving yards and a touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his ninth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season.
If history really does repeat itself, Vest might just drop another big game when he faces off against Timpanogos on Friday. Vest rushed for 108 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, and also picked up 30 receiving yards the last time he and the Timberwolves duked it out back in October of 2023.

Griffin Demartini produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Provo to the win on Thursday. Demartini picked up 140 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 50 yards.
The win was the sixth in a row for Provo, bringing their record for this year to 6-2. Demartini and Provo will take on Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 51 yards.

Payson came up short on Thursday despite Trevyn Wall delivering his best game to date. Wall wasn't messing around, throwing for 472 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.2 yards per attempt. The match was his third straight with three or more passing touchdowns dating back to last season.
Payson is on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8. Wall and Payson will host Uintah at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
