The Windsor Warriors waltzed into Friday's game with five straight wins but they left with six. They really took it to Berlin for the full four quarters, racking up a 41-6 victory on the road. With Windsor ahead 27-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
John (pie) manning had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 211 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.2 yards per carry. (pie) manning was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 50 yards. Damion Sparrow also helped out with an impressive 136 receiving yards.
Windsor pushed their record up to 8-1 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.8 points per game. As for Berlin, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-3.
Windsor will take on Bloomfield at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bloomfield is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Berlin, they will head out on the road to face off against Middletown at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
