When it comes to explaining why Sugar-Salem lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ashlyn Harris. Despite the final result, she scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks. That's the first time this season that Harris scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andee Petterson, who scored 12 points along with seven assists and two steals.
Sugar-Salem are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-6. As for South Fremont, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.
