Beechwood extended the longest winning streak in 1A District 4 this week by beating Ludlow, 61-0. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Beechwood led the league in scoring this week after putting up 61 points on the Panthers.
Ludlow's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Mitchell Cody has thrown for 669 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Zach Cole has 17 catches for 311 yards. Jeremiah Martin leads the league in rushing with 190 yards.
Bellevue made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,372 from 8,777. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 58-8 victory over Dayton last week.
