After having lost a blowout in their previous game against King's Ridge Christian, The King's Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Cherokee Christian Warriors with a sharp 41-20 victory. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Knights considering their six-point performance the match before.
The King's Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaxon Bone, who rushed for 249 yards and three TDs while picking up 13.1 yards per carry. Bone really tore up the turf during one magnificent 83-yard run. The team also got some help courtesy of Joe Iredale, who threw for 257 yards and one touchdown while completing 74.1% of his passes.
