For the second straight game, Lamar will face off against Simpson Academy. The Raiders will head out on the road to take on the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lamar is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.

Lamar is headed into the game having just suffered their closest defeat since March 6, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of Simpson Academy by a score of 9-7. The Raiders' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

For Simpson Academy's part, Barrett McKenney was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one double. Those four hits gave McKenney a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Adcock, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI.
