Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Cypress Creek Bears, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They fell just short of the Titans by a score of 35-33. Cypress Creek has not had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Olympia to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ava Pazos, who scored six points along with five assists and four steals. Pazos hasn't dropped below three steals for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Mary-Kate Louissaint, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 22 rebounds.
Cypress Creek has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season. As for Olympia, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-12.
Cypress Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Olympia will square off against the Panthers at TBD on Wednesday. Dr. Phillips will be looking to extend their current 13-game winning streak.
