The Solebury Spartans pushed their score all the way to 55 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a serious blow against Peddie, falling 90-55. Solebury lost against Peddie in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 86-64 score last time.
When it comes to explaining why Solebury lost, one person who can't be blamed is Makhai Anderson . Despite the final result, he scored 19 points along with 7 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tyler Simpson, who scored 10 points along with 4 steals.
Solebury's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Peddie, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Solebury will square off against St. James at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Peddie's road trip will continue as they head out to face Malvern Prep at 7:00 p.m. on December 6th.
