Baseball Recap: South Warren Snags Sixth Victory in Last Seven Games

It's playoff time, and South Warren had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the Logan County Cougars get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Monday. Considering the Spartans have won 16 matches by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

South Warren has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Logan County, their loss dropped their record down to 22-13.

South Warren wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 8-4 victory against Barren County on the 27th. Logan County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
