While Hillcrest put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Jordan. The Huskies put the hurt on the Beetdiggers with a sharp 12-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won five games by six runs or more so far this season.
Abigail Hitchcock made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, Lila Vawdrey was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. She also launched a home run, marking her first of the season. Bailey Terry was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases.
