The Hudson Hornets will venture away from home to  square off against the Northside Falcons HomeSchool Falcons  at 7:39  p.m.  on Tuesday. The last four games Hudson has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Hudson and Nacogdoches meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again  on Friday. Hudson narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past Nacogdoches  9-7.
The team  relied heavily on  Aidan Bonacci, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in five of his three plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  John Penn, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Hudson  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  struck out at most four  strikeouts in three consecutive  matchups.
 Meanwhile, Northside Falcons HomeSchool and Lumberton finished up their  contest with  a  3-3 draw on Friday.
 Northside Falcons HomeSchool's  draw gives them a new season record of 7-2-1. As for Hudson, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.
 Everything went Hudson's way against Northside Falcons HomeSchool in their previous meeting  back in March of 2024, as Hudson made off with  a  7-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hudson since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
