The Roosevelt Rough Riders were the 58-54 winner over the Revere Minutemen when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Roosevelt took a 63-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Minutemen on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Despite the loss, Roosevelt still got an impressive performance from Jaden Dennison, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Slocum, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds and four blocks.
Roosevelt now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Revere, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.
Roosevelt will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Black Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Cuyahoga Falls and the Rough Riders are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Revere, they will head out on the road to challenge the Greenmen at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
