Bishop Gorman found their leader in sophomore Amelia Meads, who went 8 for 17 en route to 19 points and six steals. That's the most steals Meads has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Gianna Mahfood, who posted ten points along with eight boards and six steals.
Bishop Gorman smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 12 consecutive matchups.
Bishop Gorman has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season. As for McKinney Christian Academy, their defeat was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-19.
